Featuring a house dating back to 1920, Porto Bay Serra Golf is surrounded by gardens, and provides guests with direct access to Santo da Serra Golf Course. It offers a heated indoor pool, a sauna and a massage room.

Each elegantly decorated room at Porto Bay Serra Golf has a private bathroom with hand shower in the bathtub, and Rituals branded amenities. They all include a cable TV with a DVD player and an iPod docking station.

Fantastic place

Everything. The hotel is placed 10 km from the airport, in a very silent position. The interior design is very nice. I loved the pool. The water in the pool has a great temperature. Very raccomended the restaurant. I didnt eat the breakfast because I left early but they prepered me the take away breakfast. The stuff is very nice. The beds are big and comfortable. Really enjoyed the stay.

Very pleasant hotel in an excellent location

The hotel is very pleasant, well preserved and restored. We are glad we stayed here. The location is very nice, particularly the reasonable amount of tourists compared to other over touristy places in Madeira. Santo da Serra is a real local town that we love, especially the restaurants and bars with local food. If lou like something fancier the golf club restaurant nearby is lovely with excellent food at reasonable prices and fantastic scenery. The weather was pleasantly cool. The hotel breakfast is wonderful and service was very good. Ample and easy parking and easy access on foot to local treks and to by car to the airport and all Madeira locations.

A very elegant hotel. There is a swimming pool available on level -1. Rooms clean and well-equipped. Parking available on the hotel premises. Golf courses are nearby and the ride to the airport takes about 10-15 minutes.

Peaceful and comfortable stay

The location is very good, close to the center and also about 30 mins away from the main hiking spots. The breakfast is quite good, and they have a good selection of foods for dinner and lunch as well. Very comfortable beds, and clean. Sauna and pool were very convenient after long hikes as well

Well appointed. A lovely place to stay with helpful & available staff.

Clean, quiet and comfortable with very helpful and available staff. Good choice of food for breakfast. Good indoor pool, sauna and small gym. Bedrooms well set out and with tea/coffee and small fridge. Overall a lovely place to stay

Only very minor things: bedroom had very little natural light (a big window and small balcony but the high vegetation is very close). There was not always space in their restaurant to book dinner even if you didn't mind when to eat. Although the village centre is close (600m?) there is no pavement and so it did not feel a safe walk & we drove.

Excellent service! Fantastic sea view. Only the building needs a renewal.

The view from the room to the sea is fantastic! The stuff is very polite and they are seeking for your well being. Thank you very much! The blue sparkling wine was amazing which was served to the balkony when we arrived and the welcome drink was really nice. The concierge women were very nice and they helped a lot!

The humidity was very high and no air conditioning system is installed. The bathroom is a little bit small. The TV channels can be very hardly find. If you pull out the card from the store it ceases the electricity in the plugs as well, so you are unable to charge any equipment if you do not stay in the hotel. The sauna is too small and old and it is valid for the jacuzzi as well.

Amazing experience :) Small cute boutique hotel with beautiful design, grat cuisine and most amazing Staff! I really appreciated: 1. Most helpful and professional Staff 2. Beautiful restoration of the Hotel with Great design in every aspect, beautiful rooms 3. Very good Quality of cosmetics in bathroom (Rituals) 4. Ecology 5. Entartainment: sauna, pool, gym, billard, chess, all free for guests 6. Professional hair dryer with big power in the room (important for Ladies with long hair :)) 7. Freshly squized juices for breakfast and bubbles ???????? good espresso ️ 8. Beautiful Christmas decorations 9. A good value for a relaxing break on a beautiful island.

The attention and positive attitude of the staff. They were extremely helpful and accommodating in room service and in helping us plan day trips. The property's remoteness allowed for a chance to catch up on rest and sleep.

The location was more remote than we had envisioned. While close to the airport ( a plus) it was farther from Funchal and the attractions of the south side of the island.

Good size room, very clean and quiet. Nice to have spa to use. Very nice and friendly staff. Good breakfast.

Dinner menu could include other vegetarian option than just pasta. Cannot turn off tv completely without taking room key off the switch (annoying red light that bothers sleep).
